What has been shown of Richie?

Richie appears among the six playable characters on the official site, next to the Captain, Shi Ye, Taffy, Wei Yinglong and Seymour^[1]. The character's profile echoes one of the roles NetEase lists for the game: its Tokyo Game Show 2025 press release says players take on roles such as task-force captain, cop, hacker, delivery person and live-streamer^[6]. The same release describes a city with cars, motorbikes, boats, public transport and helicopters^[6].

Ananta lets you switch between several characters, each with a story of their own. The developers told TechRadar that a character you are not controlling "continues to live their own life"^[5].

How do you get Richie?

By playing. Ananta has no character gacha: first reported by Famitsu and relayed by AUTOMATON, then repeated by the developers, all playable characters are obtained for free through gameplay and story progression^[4]^[5]^[3]. Monetization focuses on cosmetics such as outfits, with home and vehicle customization also cited^[4]^[5].
