Ananta platforms: PC, PS5, mobile, Xbox and cross-play

Ananta launches on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS and Android on January 15, 2027^[1][5][3][4]. On PC, you can get it through Steam or through NetEase's official launcher^[3][4][2]. There is no Xbox version announced. Steam now lists Cross-Platform Multiplayer^[2], but NetEase has not said which platforms will play together, and cross-save is not confirmed^[1][6].

Which platforms is Ananta on?

Four platforms are confirmed for launch, and the official website lists one release date for all of them (details in our release date guide):

The official website also adds "and more" after its platform list, without naming anything else^[1].

What do we know about the PC version?

The Steam page (app 4814120) names Naked Rain Studio as developer and NetEase Games as publisher. It lists Windows only, the categories Single-player, MMO, Online Co-op and Cross-Platform Multiplayer, and partial controller support including DualShock and DualSense pads^[2]. Processor and graphics card requirements are still marked "TBD": our PC requirements page sums up what is official and what comes from the press.

You are not tied to Steam: PC Gamer and Automaton both mention NetEase's own launcher as a second way to play on PC^[3][4]. On November 4, 2026, the official website still shows no launcher download, and the Epic Games Store has no page: see where to download Ananta on PC.

And the mobile versions?

The iOS listing is published by NetEase Interactive Entertainment Pte. Ltd., rated 12+, and requires iOS 15.0 or later^[7]. That is the only technical detail available: no official list of supported phones or tablets has been published. The Google Play page is open for pre-registration but shows no Android minimum.

In Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, the game is handled by local partners, with 心誠娛樂 as agent and 脈動數位 as publisher^[5].

Is Ananta coming to Xbox, Switch, Mac or the Epic Games Store?

Not for now:

• Xbox: not announced, and Xbox does not appear on the official website^[1].
• Epic Games Store: not announced. Only Steam and the official launcher are named for PC^[3][4].
• Switch and Mac: not announced yet either.

One detail for long-time followers: when the game was revealed as Project Mugen in 2023, a PlayStation 4 version was also announced^[8]. PS4 no longer appears in the current platform lists^[1]. NetEase has not commented on it in the sources we reviewed, so we do not treat it as officially cancelled.

Does Ananta have cross-play and cross-save?

Half of the answer is in. Since early October 2026, the Steam page lists Cross-Platform Multiplayer^[2], which suggests that players on PC and on other platforms will be able to play together. NetEase has not said which platforms are included, nor whether progress will carry over between PC, PS5 and mobile (cross-save), which is still not confirmed^[6]. We will not assume cross-save until NetEase says so.

Cross-play is tied to co-op: Steam lists Online Co-op next to Single-player and MMO^[2], and at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 the developers said they are studying a four-player co-op mode while insisting that Ananta is not an MMO^[9][10]. Which platform should you pick?

Without cross-save confirmed, the safest choice is the platform you will play on most. If you are on PC, check your hardware against the specs checker once final requirements are published. If you want to play on the go, both iOS and Android are confirmed from day one^[1].

What is still unknown?

• Which platforms cross-play will cover, and whether cross-save or cross-progression exists between PC, PS5 and mobile: not announced yet^[2][6].
• Xbox, Epic Games Store, Mac or Switch versions: not announced.
• Official mobile device requirements beyond iOS 15.0: not published yet^[7].
